11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Honoring Colorado's WWII Heroes

Freedom_Memorial.jpg

This year's Colorado Freedom Memorial ceremony will pay tribute to the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II by honoring that war's fallen heroes, and the veterans of WWII still alive. It will likely be the last opportunity for all of us to publicly salute a generation that sacrificed everything to protect the freedoms we treasure today. Please plan to join us for a remembrance ceremony that will include The U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and Rifle Drill Team from Washington D.C., The Colorado Civil Air Patrol, active duty military, a flyover, the Furniture Row Racing #78 show car and much more. We will also honor those who have given all since the Spanish-American War, those remembered on the glass panels of the Colorado Freedom Memorial.

The 2nd Anniversary Ceremony is free and open to the public. If you are a WWII veteran or are associated with WWII veterans and would like to attend please call 303-248-3990 to let the CFM know you'll be there. We hope to make this the largest gathering of living Colorado WWII veterans this year! Share this with EVERYONE!!!
