The Veteran’s Day parade will be held in Denver this year on November 8th. The theme will be based on the different war era’s from the Civil War through the Iraq/Afghanistan war. Units will be divided into the criteria your organization falls. There will be a 5k and 10k run starting at 0800; the parade will start at 1000 hours and a festival around the Veterans Park after the parade. There will be food venders, a beer garden, and bouncy house for the kids, military vehicles and a laser light show starting at 1800 hours.
The Legion Riders and other motorcycle groups will lead the parade. Department Headquarters will be lined up in the Revolutionary War era with those posts that want to be part of the parade lined up in other sections of the parade.
There will be free parking available so visitors and on lookers can enjoy the parade and festival.
